- 1930 – Began racing career throughout the southeast
- 1939 – Captured Big Car Southeastern States Title AAA championship
- 1940’s – Won countless track features before retiring in 1951 from back injury
- 1965 – Influenced and oversaw the construction of the Middle Georgia Raceway
- 1966 – NASCAR Grand National “Morelock 200” held in his honor at inaugural MGR event
